Only a few of those are crawlers. A few of them are likely people from our advertiser, too, but that does not account for the rest of them, who are, as far as I can tell, legitimate unique visitors.

I think one of those "legitimate" unique visitors just Ddos'd our ass. I couldn't get on here for a good 15 minutes.

If this site goes down I disappear with it. I'm locked out of Bungie anyway so I couldn't go back even if I wanted to.

Support said it was an issue on their end and it was obviously fixed, so...

And this site wouldn't disappear forever. Worst case scenario: the site crashes and is down for a week while I work on setting it back up somewhere else and you lose like...the last day's worth of posts.

That's why I'm stockpiling ad revenue, mate. We can survive half a year to, dare I say, another year, if we really had to.

Then what after that? And what about the incentive to posting here?

We gotta make a product and sell it. Game, movie, I dunno. Something. Look at Bungie. Why did we join their website? Because of Halo right? Look at Newgrounds. Why did people sign up there, because of the flash content right?

We need an incentive if you wish to attract more people, also if you sell supporter titles for like $10 and the bonus is that removes ads off the site while you get some extra money, it will work. Newgrounds does this for $25 and they're pretty damn profitable.
