Obviously they can't stop you from judging them but I think people in general mean don't judge me out loud. So like if you're going to do it anyway just keep it in

There isn't actually a way not to judge people. Even somebody who's easy going, HAS to judge people in order to formulate an opinion of them. And you HAVE to formulate an opinion of some kind when you encounter people so that you can actively protect yourself from people who will otherwise cause you harm/distress.

Now, I assume you're referring to actively making said opinions known.

You ever have somebody come up to you and start actively making their opinion of you known?

It's irritating.

And if you give them a checklist of their own flaws then they break down and call you an insensitive asshole. It's like being caught in a bear trap.

Listen to them prattle on and play the democracy card by being polite, or get yourself shot by talking back.

So, why do people say, "don't judge?"

Because it makes everybody's lives easier if you just shut the fuck up and keep it to yourself.
