Why do people hate pedophiles?

Seriously, I don't even dislike people who do bad things. I dislike people who judge people for doing bad things.

It's like, I don't hate rapists, pedophiles, murderers, whatever. I hate people who have a self righteous attitude, who try to act like they need to have a strong emotional reaction over those things.

You know what I hate a thousand times more than rapists, pedophiles, and murderers? Christians who persecute gay people and demonize women and indoctrinate their kids; republican politicians and conservatives in general.

It really doesn't make sense to use this relevancy argument. It's not like I can just switch on what I hate and what I don't. I get if you don't approve of pedophilia, that's cool with me. I don't think anyone really "hates" people like that simply because hating someone has to be very personal. However you can outright and vehemently reject what they have done/their state of mind and condemn them for it. They're taking advantage of innocent children and touching them in disgusting ways.

If you ever got convicted of Pedophilia and sent to prison, odds are you're gonna die anyway. Inmates absolutely hate pedophiles. If even inmates hate them, then yeah.
