A woman was stopped at Beijing Capital International Airport for trying to carry a bottle of cognac worth ยฃ120 on the plane. Faced with either having to throw the whole bottle away or drinking the contents, she opted for the latter. The woman, surnamed Zhao, downed the entire thing at around noon, because she didnโt want to waste the bottle of Rรฉmy Martin XO Excellence that she had purchased at a US airport earlier on her journey. Ms Zhao then became incredibly drunk. She apparently started shouting incoherently and fell to the floor, which is where she stayed until she was removed by security. A security officer was quoted as saying: โShe was so drunkโฆ she couldnโt even stand up by herself. We took her to a room in a wheelchair so she could rest.โ She was given medical care, and was picked up by her family after being released by police some hours later. The woman didnโt sober up until 7pm, when she realised what she had done.I like this ladyโs style. I like it a lot. Most people probably wouldโve either thrown the bottle away or tried to find a way to mail it to themselves. Not this lady. Whether it be in the bottle or in her body. Pretty fucked up of airport security to not let her on the plane after they issued her the challenge by saying she couldnโt bring liquids on the plane. What choice did she have? They basically told her she had to chug it (ya know, not really but kinda) and then wouldnโt let her get on the plane once she did it. Thatโs like some kind of sick joke. โHere, you have to get rid of this drinkable substance or you canโt get on the plane. Oh you got rid of it? Well now you canโt get on the plane.โ Itโs like an unsolvable riddle. You said she couldnโt get on the plane with the bottle, she got rid of the bottle, now let her on the fucking plane.
