Sorry animu fans, but superman prime could just make it so that these adversaries never actually existed in the first place.

He's the most broken one here.
Ea tho
Quote
The sword itself is nameless, and it is described by Shirou as "the only sword that does not exist in this world." It is something that does not appear in any modern legends, crystallized during the Age of Gods at the beginning of the world. It is the primordial sword that is the actualization of the works of a god recorded before humanity came into being, and it is that which divided the formless into a distinct heaven and earth in ancient Mesopotamia. It is a divine construct created by a god unable to be replicated by Unlimited Blade Works, and its status as a unique existence means it cannot be reproduced in any way.
Quote
Gilgamesh claims that the sword "knows the truth" of the world where it once existed, and by using its power, it is able to bestow its knowledge upon others. As it is "The Sword That Cut the World Apart", he calls it “something that knows the hellish planet before genesis”, the planet's primordial form before heaven and earth were split, that was a land filled with naught but lava and gas and a hell of scorching heat and intense cold. Referring to it as hell, Gilgamesh states that it is source of all legends of lands of the dead. The memory of the time before the existence of the planet, a place and time when organic existence had been impossible, is something possessed by all organisms, but it is no longer found in the imaginations or spoken memories of people. It is the first memory of life that is a genetically inherent and repressed knowledge which can only be shown to those looking upon the sword.
Too bad Gil is too much of an arrogant prick to actually use it before he gets shrekt.

I thought superman prime made himself immune to magic. Hence why I said he's invincible and can do anything he wants.

Gil could win against regular supes, but that would only be because of his gate of babylon and its ability to shoot magic weapons out of it. However the only way he'd be able to hit gary-stuperman is if he had divinity and Gil used enkidu. Cause you know, traveling faster than the speed of light and all that.

Basically you can't put superman into any fight and expect it to be a fair one.

He didn't. And as an aside, his omnipotence is only assumed and never really shown.

Does Gilgamesh have anything stronger than Ea? Just having magic won't necessarily mean he can kill Superman.

Ea would be his strongest weapon considering that it can tear apart worlds when used to it's fullest potential.

But that doesn't matter if regular superman moves faster than light.

I mean in CCC Gilgamesh did do this with Ea, but I don't think there was ever any confirmation on whether or not this was a canon maximum output for Ea or the devs did this because they thought it looked cool.

He's more powerful than his fifth-dimensional descendant. That speaks volumes.

Saitama has no feats that put him on par with Supes' usual Post-Crisis level, much less his best version.

Being powerful enough to give a 5D imp more power than it already has is a feat.

He's more powerful than his descendants because the narrative says he is. Not Superman's word, not some other character's word, the narrative. You're arguing against the writing itself.

The narrative in Marvel also says that Odin is omnipotent.

So...

So...

He is via the Odinforce. Not that that means much since there's assloads of omnipotent people running around in Marvel and most of them are more powerful than him because there are tiers of omnipotence.

This has nothing to do with Superman, though.

Oh my god man, Odin is NOT omnipotent. Do you even know the meaning of omnipotence? Damn.

And no, no matter how powerful Superman gets he is not getting on Galactus, the Celestials or even Necro King Thor.

Allow Kubik to set things straight. This is how omnipotence works in Marvel. Odin is omnipotent according to how Marvel defines it.

How are they relevant in the slightest?

I know of that scan. But that just means that they have limited ranges, even with a supposed infinite power. But then again, omnipotence means absolute power. The only true omnipotent in Marvel is TOAA. No one else because they have limited range. So that only makes them extremely powerful to a degree, that's why Space Gods > Skyfathers.

Well see, Superman Prime can supposedly beat the mecha thing here. That thing destroyed its native universe and rebuilt it. Something that no character in a comic book, except for the Living Tribunal, Lucifer and Michael, have done. What I am saying is that SPrime is not that powerful at all, he is at most as powerful as a mid-fed Galactus if we go by statements.

Still stronger than Whis though.

They're limited only in that some others can overpower them. A Cosmic Cube being can use the universe as a condom if they damn well want - they can do anything they feel like doing so long as someone more powerful doesn't feel like opposing them.

But if we assume "Odin the Omnipotent" means "Odin is so powerful he appears omnipotent to us mere mortals", well, that's just a vague hyperbolic assessment of power meant to clue the reader in that Odin is a badass. As opposed to Morrison's specific statement that Superman had the power to make his descendants more powerful than any metahuman ever, which is meant to clue the reader in that Superman is more powerful than those descendants. And on that note, why would they need his power if he wasn't?

Quote

Gurren Lagann? They never did that. They fought in a pocket dimension where thought became reality. Their home universe was fine at the time.

5D imps are well above Galactus, and Superman Prime is apparently above 5D imps.
