If you watch the video it's cool how you see and hear the stages of the nuke going off. First you see the white light, then you hear the narrator talking about the heat, the video jumps up to the sky looking at the cloud and then the shock wave reaches the ground.

It's unfortunate they did so many similar tests without any regard to potential medical effects.

That is true. The shock wave coming down on them could have killed them or damaged them and only one guy was wearing sun glasses which are the wrong types for nuke blasts. When the did this test it's clear that nobody put thought into safety.
