The great thing about Watchmen is that the characters are so philosophically vibrant.

I really identify with all of the characters on some level.

The Comedian, because I see the world's flaws and deign to be a parody of them.

Rorschach, because of my devotion to the real truth.

Dr. Manhattan, because as I go on I see increasingly that life on earth has had minuscule significance.

It's really a great set of characters.

I really need to pick up the graphic novel. I've only seen the movie.

Like with what Solonoid said, though, I identify with all the characters on some level--except the Comedian, of course, but his character is so likable and interesting anyway that I still appreciate his existence, especially as a foil to Rorschach.

Well what he did was pretty villainous but it had a heroic ideal behind it.

Anti-hero maybe? For the plot he was the antagonist fo sure.

Well, they're all characters that have their various morals taken to their extreme upper limits, basically.

They're understandable in that they're all very real reflections of morals. But unrelatable to me since there isn't a single aspect I could list to myself that stretches that far out when compared to theirs.
