I'm much more of a psychonaut than a stoner. I only continued to smoke pot for certain health issues, and have quit smoking it. I fully recognize that the habitual use of psychoactive substances contributes to a lack of mindfulness, which is a quality that I value immensely.Also, I became interested in and started studying zen philosophy years before I ever did any drugs. What turned me on to it was depression and an existential crisis in my teens.
