Humor: Rick and Morty (among so many other things. Rick and Morty is just brilliant).
Characterization and 'feels': Steven Universe

I also recently came off of From the New World and enjoyed it. If you like psychological/supernatural I'd give it a shot, though the animation style can be jarring at times.

Been watching Borgia on Netflix, b. Pretty good overall imo, great acting. Kinda weird though cause the pope is played by an American actor who speaks with an American accent in the show. If you like conniving, politics, history and gratuitous sex, you should def give it a go.

Give the first three episodes a solid run through if you try it. I was pretty much immediately hooked but the setup is slow. Slow and methodical like an on-call surgeon.
What I like most about the show so far is it's frugal in using exposition, it tells you just as much as you need to be invested as a viewer and to carry the plot forward. It's very well written and for the most part well paced.
The thing I don't like most is the convenience of clues to progress the plot, but this is only in a few places iirc.

its pretty good. episode 2 really fucked me up, even though it shouldnt have.
i just finished re-reading Claymore, and went back to watch the anime. bleh.

I haven't seen Lain yet, but so far there's minimal hallucinations.
There is one part that might destroy any innocence you have remaining, but it's pretty far in.

Hmm, well the last show-show that I watched was GoT S5 or w/e they are on now. The whole, let's drag the mannis through the mud shit left a sour taste in my mouth ontop of House of Cards S3 being painful and BCS ending ages ago. Might rewatch dexter or house at some point because it's been more than a few years since watching either now.

When I was a leetle beybeh, I always wanted to see what Helms Deep would look like with a few Browning M2 Nests set up along the deeping wall. Gate showed me the next best thing and then some.
Not only do you have MGs, Tanks, Foxholes and Artillery but the latest episode was a massive army of bandits getting shredded by attack helicopters, hueys full of drop troops/miniguns and pistol vs sword fights e.e

None of this offscreen pussified bullshit either, full on battle scenes.

Also watching Kiseijuu/Parasyte which I think byrne reviewed on here a little while back now <.<
It's very good, kind of surprised me how well the characters were done in comparison to damn near everything else I've watched. It's mirror perfect for how people would likely react to this that and the other <_<
As a sort of gauge for how much I'm enjoying it, it normally takes me a month to get through 25 episodes. I'm halfway through in less than a week.
