I want to say the chain smoker is worse because his second hand smoke affects other people, but the lard bucket puts strain on the healthcare system and ends up being a colossal waste of taxer payer money.
Anyway, the smoker gives more money to the state in tax, so he's the better guy.

I had taken all of my medication and I still started coughing when I passed by him.

Smoke just makes it worse. Like I said with the smoker at a restaurant, I also can't keep near a grill and have to make sure i'm out of the way of the smoke pouring out. So yeah it does affect people with Asthma much more than you think

Superior Germanic heritage and what-not.
I'd say smokers are worse. There's only one reason why smokers become smokers: They made the stupid decision one day to pick up a cigarette. Obesity isn't as black and white, there are more causes and conditions that can contribute to a person getting an eating disorder, and so they're more worthy of my pity.
