We always say to fight fire, you must use fire. This is wrong. Fighting fire with fire will leave scars and a new flame will rise. We must instead use water. If animals perceive their days longer or shorter than we do? Faster or slower? Maybe dogs perceive things slower than we do and that is why they are good catcher?

Well my birds in the backyard go to sleep as soon as the sun goes down.

But for some reason, my roosters will sometimes wake up at 3am and start cock-a-doodling.

If things are seen to move slower, you have more time to respond to a quick situation, that is what I'm trying to say.
