I mean, apart from say, 3 people here, I can't get anything in the way of actual criticism if my writing anywhere apart from a like or something and I post on here, bnet, Bethesda forums, HaloArchive and one or two others. Problem is, I can never get any genuine feedback on how to make my work better and I don't know if it's just that my writing is shit or no one cares, and I'm presuming a combination of the two. I mean, I'm not going to give up or anything, but I'm questioning a lot recently why I still bother with my lore project when I it's becoming evident that what little motivation I had to do it aside from my own enjoyment- to hopefully give other people something to enjoy reading like I have with halo or mass effect- is becoming redundant if no one actually cares.


Anyway, I'm not here to complain and tell everyone to read my stuff, because I'm not going to force people to do something they don't want out of pity, but I want to know if anyone knows any decent websites where I can get feedback on stuff because I am starting to consider giving up on it otherwise and spend time doing something actually useful like schoolwork.

No! Don't you consider stopping! I'm sorry, I don't know any good places for writers to get feedback, in fact I don't know any at all. But don't consider stopping! Try looking around a bit and searching for a place that will take in writers and their stories. I know there's lots of fanfiction places out there, but nothing really for writers and their original content. It's something my friend was always complaining about too. But hang in there. Don't you give up on yourself.

I wish I had enough time to go old school Goji and sentence by sentence analyze it. Either that or I could've given it to a friend who analyzes this stuff but that's not an option now either.

I guess a writing forum, here is deffo not the place to show your work, especially with the trolls and assholes running around.

Yeah, that place is derelict compared to FanFiction.net (which wouldn't be helpful in this case).
