My point still stands, refusing to show a picture is not only going to potentially cause more harm but also make CNN appear as if they're trying to hide something. I'm pretty sure CNN only wasn't showing his picture initially after the incident because they probably didn't have one at the time and everybody's been making a mountain out of a molehill on the matter. If it was breaking news they could have been reporting on the incident before seeing the video. They definitely had a picture up of him fairly shortly afterward. I wasn't watching CNN yesterday so idk how long they didn't have a picture up. I've just been seeing right wing sources taking the same screenshot and running with it.
