I've always maintained that the best order to watch them in is

ANH - ESB - ROTJ - TPM - AOTC - ROTS

Originals first, prequels second.

You'll miss all the subtle nuances the prequels deliver if you don't watch the originals first, which will just crush all enjoyment entirely. Not to mention, like Verb said, the change in graphical quality will be completely jarring from 3 to 4.

There's a video on Youtube that is a re-cut and compression of all of the prequels into one. It's much better than any of the three and cuts down on all of the unnecessary garbage. I think this is it. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I recently just re-watched all the prequels. It's no where near as bad as everyone claims it to be. Hayden Christensen was a little monotoned but he did a good job.(guy who played anikan in 2 and 3). Ewan Mcgregor(however you spell it, the guy who played obi wan) nailed it and did an amazing job. sure there's a lot of greenscreen, but who cares, the scenery was beautiful.
