Metalcore usually does a good job of making me fall asleep, but besides car and plane trips I rarely fall asleep listening to music. Ear buds are uncomfortable for that.

Don't need to. Inherently most of my family members go out like a light once they touch the pillow. I've slept through supposedly loud as fuck thunderstorms and hail.

I just open up the window in my room and listen to the silence outside. Or the wind.

It's quite comforting.
