Just thought I'd explain it for you, since you took it a bit out of context. I'd consider myself insecure, but not for the reasons you listed.

Insecurity isn't literal; bouldering, while by definition is "unsecured" doesn't make the climber insecure. In all likelihood, someone who boulders is probably quite secure in their abilities. Insecurity (to slightly fix my previous definition) is to fall to the fear of uncertainty. Security is to overcome it.
