just bought a used vw, got the bumper to bumper warranty, a month and a couple thousand miles later, the check engine light comes on. it needs a software update. according to ryan, a scumbag, the warranty doesn't cover software updates because "there's no part number." i've already confirmed that this is bullshit with the dealership i got the car from, and they're gonna fix it like they should, but i had to spend 140 fucking dollars to get my car back from the shitty dealership due to their "diagnostic fee."

This happened to me too, charged 250 for 'Labour' and didnt even fix the problem. So called em cunts and fixed everything myself. Luckily made friends with a mechanic with a Diagnostic device.

But I got rid of my VW, was diesel and was just tired of the problems.
