It's more attributed to the different attitudes towards Government between Canada and the US. Americans tend to be far more skeptical of big Government than other Western countries.

It is pretty nice to make snow balls barehanded. The shock of cold is super refreshing. Tbh I'm kinda missing it right now. It's too hot in Florida... I'm ready to go home.

Well it's been a warm 12 - 18 Celsius for the past couple days. Really nice actually, feels like spring finally got here.
