I was thinking about how I generally don't use the phrase "take it easy" and that led to considering what phrase I do actually use. "Catch ya later" is one I use often.

sometimes i do say "take it easy" if my friend was having a shitty day or something, or "take care" for elder family members

maybe when i grow a beard, gain 100 pounds, and turn 40, i'll start saying shit like "have a good one"

I say this a bit more often due to the awareness of how fragile life is. I don't think it's a paranoia thing at all, just that I hate the idea of not being able to say a proper "goodbye" y'know? But I do like that idea of keeping for special occasions to add meaning to it.
