Nope absolutely no drugs of any kind man. It was just such a great experience. We had the euphoria feeling of knowing we were graduating in the next week, we were with all of the friends we'd grown close to over the years(plus I was with the only girl I've actually loved) and we were surrounded by thousands of other teenagers feeling the same things we were. Plus there were roller coasters at night! Completely sober

I keep hearing about this stuff. The school in my town sent everybody off to france a couple years back.

Would have been cool if that trend started a few years back when I was still in school.

That's right. Grad parties. Feels like the end of something and the beginning of something.

Met a girl.

Rome and Vienna were beautiful, but much of my time spent there was spent in constant forward motion. There was hardly any time to relax, and all the attractions we visited, while nice, were infested with smelly, impolite tourists and scam artists. Germany gave me a nice, idyllic place to relax.

I still talk to her.

The one I just remembered is nice. I think it's the only one I've got. It was something like five or six years ago. I was in total isolation for three months with no human contact save for the rare phone call. I was house sitting for some people who had to go out of province but couldn't leave their home unattended.

I took the full time job of taking care of their farmstead while they were gone. It was tough work, but so damn nice at the same time. They gave me full run of the house to use. So I'd just wake in the day. Sometimes early, sometimes late. But it was just...mine.

I had lots of work to do and things to look out for, but I could do every one of them on my own time as I chose to do. Most peaceful three months of my life I've ever known.

Hmm, I'm not sure if I can pick out a fondest one but there was a particularly nice day about a week or so ago.
I was at my grandparents and my brother, his wife and their son came to visit.

He's about 10 months old and he's just started tottering (with help) so I was sat on the floor opposite sis-in-law and then brother whilst my nephew was walking between us. He then wanted to climb up the side of a chair to play peekaboo with my grandpa, but he's a little bit short and all so I gave him a boost up.

Just a nice heartwarming sort of day that was, watching him take his first (sort of) steps around the place and having a whale of a time e.e

It's just a pity we don't get to see them all that often, but i imagine when I get around to finishing driving lessons/getting a veehickle I'll be making a few trips down to go and see them >_>

although Election Day 2012 was pretty good for me. Worked my ass off but it was pretty much the perfect day.
