What's better, music that pumps you up or chills you out?

I listen to almost exclusively chill music, with EDM as an exception

Slap some tunes on that make me think any day over rowdy stuff. Always good for working long hours. Plug them earphones in and off ya go for 12 hours or so.

Depends on mood and place.

For example when I'm driving, I want to listen to AC/DC, Megadeth, or any other rock/heavy metal band.
