Here the scenario

It's the middle of the night and you hear a noise downstairs. You decided to go investigate.  During your investigation you find yourself a thief in your house.  After a long run around the house you catch the thief. After tying him down you proceed to open up his bag to see what items he has stolen from your house.  Your socked only to find your canned food and bars of soap.

What would you do?

Let him go with the items?
Call the police?


Me:  If I only found soap and canned food in his bag I would let him good with his items. My morals couldn't allow me to call the police on someone who just trying to survive.

He broke into my home, invading my space,  then taking my stuff.

There are ways to survive and people who can help, and breaking the law isnt the way to do it. Plus theyll keep him fed and get him help anyway.
