Weird Shit on a Hunting Camera

My dad showed me this strange frame from one of his motion-sensor hunting cameras that he uses to scout for good places to shoot deer and stuff. The thing doesn't have a flash and only snaps a shot when it senses movement. I'm also including another shot that occurred a few hours later. The only thing that I have edited is the size of the picture and the name before uploading to imgur.

Note the strange shape behind the deer that isn't there in the first picture... Obviously the camera doesn't move.

Any ideas what the hell is happening here?

It's the IR back scatter from an LED on the camera. Those lowlight cameras amplify red light like crazy. A cherry on a cigarette looks like a road flare. It's crazy

How fast is the shutter speed on the camera? The blur might be another deer getting startled and getting captured in a really fast jump
