The day that advertising companies stop sharting out loud intrusive ads is the day that adblockers will be redundant. Nobody cared about banner ads way back when, they care about pop-ups, virus filled screen covering pieces of shit and video ads that auto-play cilit bang commercials.

I think Rooster Teeth's video player used to just make you wait 30 seconds to watch a video if you had adblock installed (the adverts were 15 seconds. I don't know if it's still the case (Haven't watched RvB for 5+ years) but I thought it was pretty cool.
