T4R. Perhaps a thread that informs users what we should do and where to go in the event that this site gets taken down. One that will guide users in the mean time while the site is either put back up, or a new on is created so we will not lose the bulk of our users. I present this idea to the mods and Cheat so that they might prepare for such an event. I think in the wake of the recent Cheese Pizza attack, and considering the previous offsites tendencies to get taken down, we should put such a last resort into place as a precaution. I'm sure we all enjoy this place. If we didn't, we either have no where else to go, or enjoy being here. I would imagine that even if this place was taken down, we would want to retain the integrity of this community. So what do you say, mods? This is a perfectly reasonable proposal.

Contingency is probably to go back to B.net.

I have no idea what the Cheese Pizza thing is but I'm assuming that deals with the other thread, which now makes more sense.

Cheat made a sep7 group on b.net for that. Dunno if there is something else

I have never heard of this group. Why has no one sent me an invite? Also, I doubt the majority of the users here are even in that group, so a contingency thread, even if it linked the B.NET group, would help greatly either way.

We have tonnes of other channels to pass information along if it came to be.

Youtube, B.Net Group, the group Skype chat, and the odd few have each other on Facebook so they could organise us up in the meantime.

The group is called Sep7agon I don't think you need to be invited, most of the people here are members.

It was created a while back during some hosting issues and it hasn't been needed ever since the site become less "offsite" and more professional/independent. It's been so long...haven't had big enough outages to justify it's use since like, august or September I believe.

Yeah...but I'm not going to lie. I really don't want to have to go back to B.NET, look for, and join that group. Even for a little while. It feels like I entered a forum full of 7 year olds who are on their first forum ever; which probably isn't too far from the truth.
