what are your thoughts on AEW

all my friends who used to like WWE hate it now and say AEW is way better

AEW is a nice alternative to what WWE is providing now, however like WWE it has its own fair share of flaws.

AEW right now is lacking in the star-power department. They have Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega that a casual fan will know but unless you're a hardcore wrestling fan the other guys they have are nobodies and are not a draw. However, I do believe AEW can build their mid-carder division far better than WWE as of right now so they have the potential to turn these guys into stars if the product continues to grow.

Their women's division too is extremely lacking compared to the juggernaut of a women's division WWE currently has. WWE's women's division just keeps getting better and better as time goes on and the biggest star in WWE right now is a woman, Becky Lynch. As a WWE fan I prefer watching the women now because of how much better they have gotten compared to 15-20 years ago. It's refreshing to see women put on matches just as good if not better than the guys, even in gimmick matches like Hell in a Cell and Ladder matches.

WWE has done a lot of things lately that I'm not a fan of, like making a deal with the Saudi Prince to have PPVs in Saudi Arabia and risking the lives of the wrestlers and other employees. There was a women's match where the two females had to wrestle in normal pants and a t-shirt compared to their usual wrestling gear and had the crowd throw things at them constantly during the match.

When WCW was around I stayed loyal to WWE and it will remain the same with AEW. I wish AEW all the luck in the world because competition in the wrestling world is good and Vince McMahon hates losing more than anything so hopefully that old bastard starts listening to the fans.
