This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang but a whimper.
If my whole attention is devoted to it? A few days.

On average? A week or two. Recently? Very long, I haven't managed to find the time for reading this year.

I'm currently reading:
- Larry Niven's Ringworld (rereading this one).
- Seldon and Snowdon's Cameron at 10 (rereading this one too).
- Niall Ferguson's Empire.
- Roger Bootle's The Trouble With Europe.

You either die a hero or live long enough to become Mythic..
It takes me awhile due to disinterest/distractions. However if I focus I can read a good 100 pages per day.

Book I am reading: The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss

A long time.  So 300 pages.. 20-30 pages an hour.. one hour a day because even that is pushing my patience.. Eh, let's round off to two weeks.

I hate reading.

I tend to limit myself to one or two chapters a day, in which case I'll have it read in a fortnight or so.

Depends but generally I get through a normal sized book a week.

Some go faster than others naturally, certain authors have a very fluid style that you can read for hours on end whilst others can be a bit like picking up a textbook. I managed to read the order of the phoenix the day it came out though, that was quite a binge.

Excuse me, I'm full of dog poison
I haven't read a book in 3 years, I just realized. Wow. I used to read so much. I could read a 300 or so page book in a day.

Makes you wonder...

It depends on how long the book is, how interested in it I am, and how much free time I have in one day. I generally can read 400 pages within an hour and a half if the book really has my interest.

Haven't picked up a book in a year, but if it were a decent book I'd read on my way to school, and on my way home. I can't remember how long it took me though, but I could read about 70 pages or so in 2 days.

- Larry Niven's Ringworld (rereading this one).

What's it like? I've considered reading it because of how influential it was to the early Halo media for Bungie. Is it good?

His eyebrows sparkling, his white beard hangs down to his chest. The thatched mats, spread outside his chise, spread softly, his splendid attos. He polishes, cross-legged, his makiri, with his eyes completely absorbed.

He is Ainu.

The god of Ainu Mosir, Ae-Oine Kamuy, descendant of Okiku-Rumi, He perishes, a living corpse. The summers day, the white sunlight, unabrushed, ends simply through his breath alone.
Depends on how invested I am. It could be a day or a month.
