His daughter looks out the window to the street thinking had committed suicide. Then looks up in the sky and smiles, like he was actually flying. That was the only part that made me think he was Birdman.

Unless he had powers the whole time but the movie is too artsy fartsy for that

It was meant to be ambiguous on purpose

Perhaps we were still seeing the world through his eyes
Or maybe we were watching some wish fulfillment dream

There were more hidden cuts than that
Longest take was 1O-15 minutes

It was edited to appear as a single cut except for a single transition. It's amazing cinematography.
