It looks kinda boring. Theyve got a bunch of interesting characters of different races in WC yet all i see is orcs versus humans.

well game 1 is basically just orcs vs humans. this is an adaptation of game 1's story. there were some trolls scattered about (axe throwers for the horde i think) and im pretty sure some dwarves on the alliance side. we already see a bunch of dwarven made stuff in this trailer. and one of the characters is a draenei. they're not gonna spoil all the cool shit in one trailer yknow. this is just a setup telling us that there is going to be a conflict, with no clear "good" or "evil" army, just heroes who may swing one way or the other and turn the tide of the war.

edit: also, knowing that gul'dan is in this movie, there's a strong chance we'll get a sneak peek at some of the demonic members of the burning legion while the orcs are fleeing draenor.

Yeah i thought so, ive only ever played Frozen Throne so im clueless regarding most of this stuff.

I've only played Warcraft 3.

yeah, its based on game 1 with some narrative changes just for the sake of transitioning to film

this movie is based on the first RTS game, orcs and humans. world of warcraft is just a narrative sequel to warcraft RTS series btw, its all the same lore

Looks good, and although there are very few races as I am not that deep into the Warcraft lore, I must say this movie is likely looking to be a great movie. Also that river scene reminds me of moses.
