the one true God is Doctor Doom and we should all be worshiping him.
It stuff like this that makes me glad I'm agnostic.

Agnosticism refers to knowledge where as faith relies on belief. You don't believe it's possible to prove or disprove god and that that knowledge is unknowable, but you can be a religious agnostic or atheist agnostic still.

I'm pretty much right in the middle on the entire thing. I just meant all the arguing on personal beliefs.
Middle ground is just fence sitting.

Faith is active so if you don't actively believe in a deity then you lack belief. Middle ground is just fence sitting. If I asked you if an argument was convincing or not, would you say "It was neither convincing nor unconvincing"? It's really a non-answer.

At this point in my life I'm undesided with the argument. I'd like to believe in something greater but I'm also not going to devote much time to it.

A fight/war is different than belief in a god. If you don't actively believe most god's will punish you anyway. It's not like you get to the heavenly gates and be like "Yo god I know I didn't believe in you but I never said I didn't either ;^)" and that'll be okay. If you're doing it for that it essentially turns into Pascal's wager. Switzerland's fence sitting is only okay cause there is no serious conflict to them or their alllies.

So theological Switzerland it still the best place to be. We have wine, cheese, and scantily-clad women, as opposed to Christians having blind faith, and atheists having self-satisfaction in assuming they're any less irritating than Christians.

Quoteright now there's no direct consequencesExactly how did you get 'I don't believe there's consequences' out of this? I'm just saying, there's no need to choose a 'side' right now, and I see no reason why I should be forced to, so why bother? Whether or not God exists has never been relevant to me, so I haven't given it much thought. And, apparently, neither has RinevWhich is why I'm utterly baffled that you're trying to force a dichotomy when there is most definitely a clear middle ground for those of us who don't give a damn.

Agnostic Christian- I believe in the god of the bible as my lord and savior but I don't think his existence can be proven or disproven.Agnostic Atheist- I do not have any beliefs in any deity(s) but I do not think it can be proven or disproven.

Just because you don't put much thought or practice into a god doesn't mean that I'm atheist. For me it isn't clear cut that you have be a theist or an atheiest. Also if I was a clear cut theist I doubt I'd be Christian. I would have my own beliefs that aren't set in stone.
