i had a dream where i had two big boxes of krispy kremes downstairs

and it was one of those dreams where i knew i was dreaming, except i thought the donuts were real

so i was thinking to myself, "i'm too lazy to grab one of those right now, but i will definitely take at least two when i wake up"

so i woke up, and it suddenly became apparent to me that we didn't have two boxes

we had precisely zero boxes, because it was a fucking dream

the fact that it's possible to have dreams remotely similar to this is why life isn't worth living

for some reason a recurring theme in my dreams is suddenly having two apartments, and having to adapt to that. like I'd have some stuff in one and some stuff in the other, and loose track of it.

or multiple fridges, and not knowing what food is in what fridge.

no idea what that means but hey I'm glad I don't have to deal with it in real life

I had an experience like this recently where I had a dream about there being a new 2D Metroid comming out as a small project between Samus Returns and Prime 4 and woke up thinking "Oh yeah that was a real thing wasn't it? Why did I forget?" And it took me a solid hour to remember there was no such thing.
That was weird.
