The Austrian Empire asks if it's fellow Ethnic German brother would be open to an economic union, involving a shared currency, that being the Deutsche Mark, of course.

Project Agaricum, having being researched since page 24, is finally complete. The project's details are released to the public. Using Antarctica's discovery of uranium, the prototype of a new type of weapon has been produced. Dubbed the atom bomb, Ukrainian scientists speculate that this weapon, which essentially splits the uranium atom into two, will cause an unparalleled explosive blast when detonated.

Testing of this weapon will happen in one week.

Carried in a biplane, the atomic bomb is dropped over the small Russian town of Ossara. The results are catastrophic. As the bomb hits the ground, a fiery, noise-cancelling explosion engulfs the town. In a flash of light and a giant mushroom cloud, thousands of lives are extinguished in an instant. Practically nothing remains of the town.

The results are sent via satellite to the Ukrainian capitol of Poltava. The destruction is more potent and powerful than any scientist had expected. More on this to follow.
