Yeah. Anthony's in it. And I'm. It familiar with the history. Are the Quintesons the creators of the transformers that Optimus was searching for at the end of the last movie? Are they machines too? And why are they so... Evil? If it's Unicorn, whose side is he on? Or does he have his own agenda?

Yeah I just looked up some stuff. Even though these movies are usually close to three hours long they're trying to cram in a whole lot into this movie. We're supposed to see how The Transformers were created, where it started, who created them, how they went from slaves to sentient beings, how they split into factions. Stuff like that. There's 2 parallel stories in the film. One is billions of years ago, and one is 100s of years ago they say.

So yeah. I guess you were half right. It seems Optimus found his creators, they took control of him. And now they're invading Earth.

I finally understand the genius of message that Bay is trying to send in the Transformers movies.
Oprimus a being many Eons old. Yet, in spite of that, the mere few years he has spent arround humans have completely sapped away his long standing optimism and respect for life and turned him into a complete bloodthirsty sociopathic Face-Reaper driven by revenge.
