As much as it irks me that they are milking the series more than Activision could ever hope to squeeze from CoD, the Horus Heresy cover arts are some of the best 40k Art out there >_>

Fulgrim, one of the best in the series


I never could make out if the leaping swordsman was Fulgrim himself or Lucius

Mechanicum, still my favourite after 30+ books


Legion, the most utterly confusing shitshow of a story I have ever read. And I loved every minute of it.


It's intentionally complex, obtuse and hard to follow. Not because of the author's poor writing ability, but because it's about the Alpha Legion who couldn't give a straight answer to the simplest question in the universe.

It was only after the 5th or so time reading it that the ending finally made sense.
