It’s literally just supposed to be funny, did you even read the Walken part? This forum definitely doesn’t appreciate my style of humor, and while I for sure have plenty of self-esteem, I’m not as narcissistic as I joke about.

My style of humor largely comes from absurdism, literary nonsense, and exaggeration. Saying ridiculous, baffling things that both defy social convention yet still pay homage to pop cultural convention is a blend that I strive to balance. It’s different than trolling, because I’m open and on the sleeve about it. Anyone with a modicum of awareness can tell when a thread of mine is serious (the “Adventure” threads, Baccano write-up) and when a thread is humorous (this one, nearly every site “suggestion” I make in Septagon). Lewis Carroll and Seth MacFarlane are both big influences on my style.

I recognize that most people here don’t think that this type of humor is funny, but that’s really okay. I have tons of fans on Discord, Facebook, and other communities, and I consider my joking around posts here to be a kind of practice for me. They keep me sharp, in an arena where I can truly think about what I’m going to say next instead of requiring to think on-the-fly, as chat servers require.

I’m not out to harm anyone, I never let a misguided view of me (for better or worse) go unchecked, and I never rely on crude humor like stereotypes or bigotry. When you consider everything I’ve said in this post, and you reread some of my material, it should click into place for you - at the very least, you should see where I’m coming from. If not, you’re probably a pretty miserable soul IRL. And that’s not me making a joke.

Where did people get this impression that I’m dangerous or violent in any way? I abhor violence. Even in self-defense, you should strive to do as little harm as possible. It’s pretty sad people think that eccentricity/not jiving with society makes you dangerous.

Not too much different in design IIRC - Cheat’s vision has always been to emulate the style of B.old, and it’s remained pretty consistent. The big differences are the features. For example, early Sep7 didn’t have a poll option for threads or the Quick-Reply window.

I know. I'm saying that if being the supposed top user means being an attention whore who is steadily losing touch with reality, I'll take being forgettable any day.

Not that being labelled as such bothered me, I definitely understand. I don't I post frequently, I don't have a gimmick, I don't get involved in drama, I'm not unintelligent but I'm not the smartest, and I don't put the amount of effort into my posts that, say, Verbatim does. I'm not super memorable. I don't think you're really in the position to be declaring which users are best though.

I am not out of touch with reality. God forbid someone comes along with less standards for the world and themselves than you. Just because I’m eccentric and hyper obsessed with the forms of media that interest me, doesn’t mean I can’t recognize reality when it comes along. I have an emotional intelligence that helps me read the room, connect with people, and get through life on nothing but work ethic and interpersonal skills.

Before you’re so quick to judge others, you should try to understand them. Do you understand me? Pretty much no one on this site does, except for maybe Solonoid, and she’s earned the right to judge and criticize me.
