To truly, by definition, be alpha, it does not require effort. You either have it or you don't. It's an inherent quality in a person and the constant and desperate attempt to turn ones self alpha is to reveal your own inherent insecurity, therefore in fact making you beta, and to expose your own discomfort in who you truly are as a person.

One may discover through trial that there is more to them than they previously have known. They find the alpha hidden deep in themselves. This must be a careful balance, otherwise, this introduces the conundrum; the constant expression of your masculinity can be seen as an insecurity and fear with yourself to be seen as anything less than a domineering figure amongst your pack. Again, making you beta.

This is why it is best to be Omega; to know your self-worth, to know the immense power that you possess, to feel that mental, physical and spiritual tranquility and comfort that resides in you and not feel the need to needlessly exude that to every person you come across and instead assert your power only where it is absolutely needed.
