To any who use Psychedelics

I’ve got four tabs that I’m planning on taking today, but I also work early in the morning tomorrow. I’m just wondering, before I commit, if the amount taken also correlates to the length of the trip, rather than just the intensity of it. Looking it up online just brings up people dosing up again DURING the trip and their opinions on it’s effectiveness, rather than the info I’m looking for.

Btw it’s only like 11 AM right now so I’ve got literally all day to dedicate to it.

Well I don't take psychedelics anymore but I imagine taking half the dose later would only extend the trip out. To get the maximum intensity you would have to take it all at once so it would kick in all at once. I don't really know which method of dosing would ultimately make the trip last longer tbh. Maybe you could look on Erowid for that answer. I don't really know anywhere better to find out about drug related stuff.

Which was kinda the point I was getting at in regards to online info. Could of made the OP more clear though, I suppose.

I'm wondering IF taking such a decent amount all at once (three doses on each one) might bleed over and extend the trip beyond what I'm prepared for. I work as a temp in a law office, so free time to do this kinda shit is no longer really available, so I wanted to squeeze in some enjoyment out of one of the only days I've been free for weeks. Any other time I've done LSD in the past has been a nonissue due to having time off and a decent recovery period, but I'd prefer not being up until like fucking 8 AM because I took too much.

Taking it all at once would strengthen it big time, maybe more so than what you would like it to be. Spacing it out is usually the best option if you wanna keep it going the entire day but it’ll be less potent.

So basically trip massive balls for a few hours and potentially freak out or be chilled the entire day and not trip massive balls

A strong LSD trip can last for around 12 hours. I guess you need to ask yourself whether or not you think you can get to sleep during the last part of the trip. If not, maybe wait for a night where you have the next day off.

In my experience with LSD, I've found that it's better to take most of it up front.

I would take three tabs, and the last one after 4-5 hours.

My last trip was that formula and it was pretty good on the front end, until I made the mistake of going to sleep. I had very strange vivid nightmares and spent most of the night sobbing uncontrollably, but before that it was a really good experience.

Rolling hard now without any problems. The dosage was never the issue and doing it by myself is sorta my preferred experience, so... thanks for nothing lol

It went pretty well. The peak was a little bit more intense than I anticipated but I spent that time just jamming out to some tunes while giving all my attention to the lava lamp I’ve never used.

Sleep was awful, but my boss is a cool dude so he let me off a couple hours early so I could take a nap.

As a veteran user (I used to sell it and I've tripped hundreds of times on dealer prices), I can affirm to a lot of the good advice here.

If you're going to trip, take it all at once and save the rest for 3-7 days minimum. Once you drop, your receptors close and you're wasting money. If you want to sleep, take it maybe 18 hours before you need to. Your mind is going to wire a lot of voltage for a long time and you won't have much luck. I've used it after all-nighters to reset my schedule, before. Finally, don't take it before a work day. Just don't. You need the day afterwards, and maybe a nicer upper for it as well. Coming down can be rough; just spend that time meditating and tending to yourself emotionally.
