My job fucked me hard.
Basically they reduced my commissions. I do software sales. I used to get 5% commission per sale. My average sale was around $15,000. That meant I got an average minimum of $750 per sale. On many I was getting 15%. That was $2250 on those.
Now we're on a sliding scale. The closer you are to your YEAR'S quota, the more you get.
It starts at 1%. That means the sale I got from $750 to $2250 on, I now only get $150.
The first gate is at 2 months of 100%.
I can't live on this.
So, an option is to go on "Stress Leave" and look for another job while still getting my base pay (about $40,000 a year). I could get 6 months paid. I know of at least 3 employees who have done this.
The question to the forum is if I should do the same and just pull the eject handle and get out.
