There has to be a full time career you can do with any degree

I have been looking for two years, have had at least ten interviews. As long as I make at least 40K a year and can move out of my parents house, I'll do anything. I keep getting offers from call centers for $12 an hour but it's just not enough. What can I do with any degree? Insurance is what I've been applying to lately.

lol my mom and sister both work in insurance. But good luck, my mom works two jobs, another at a hospital. Just find a job and start saving.

Sales, accounting, middle management, etc. You're not going to get 40k/y starting with no experience in a field unrelated to your degree, but you'll have insurance, social security, and retirement going.

Nigga you went for a degree that has very little payout and because you thought it was an easy way out. I plan on being a teacher AFTER I do my career in astronomy.

So what do you think of the LIGO observations? Personally, I'm excited to hopefully see the existence of gravitons proved down the line.

I'm looking forward to the other data that comes from the black hole collision. It's largely been overshadowed by the Gravitational Waves, but black hole collisions are pretty rare in general. I'm excited for what else comes of it.

Construction work. Start out as a laborer in construction. Pay is usually above minimum wage. Stay a while. Learn stuff. They'll start asking you about trades. Trades are your real money makers. They'll pay you to go to school and learn a trade. Unless of course america has shit for trades and construction workers too, it is a good way of making money.

I was one of those teenagers too, but I still wanted to make games regardless if I ended up in Bungie or not, and you know what? I still fucking do. Too bad the video game industry is turning into trash. I'm going to stay indie and just make my own shit. I don't care if a million people play it or no one plays it.

My club and I are going to attempt to tap into the mobile market because that is where most of the money is going now.

I never planned it that way, seems backwards. Basically do what you think you can do well, whether or not you particularly enjoy it.

Anywho, I wouldn't suggest exploration geology as a degree, you can make big bucks if you land a job in it, but you're likely to be freelance and/or jumping from contract to contract for a few years until you get to desk-job level (or get a Masters). And that's if the commodity prices don't keep falling and junior exploration companies don't go bust (which they do, all the time).
