Pain isn't a morality factor, but a biological factor. There's nothing 'good' or 'bad' about it, just like pleasure, or drowsiness.

I cannot remember experiencing the pain, and I never will, so it did not actually happen as far as I'm concerned. It's MY pain, and only MY pain, so if I cannot even recall experiencing it, it essentially did not happen in the first place.

It's not a BAD sensation, it's a PAINFUL sensation. It is biological, and it exists in a variety of larger organisms in order to avert being damaged. That is all.
