It's true.

A life of mediocrity or "just adequate" isn't what you should be aiming for. If more people thought like that and acted on it (instead of just spouting it and remaining in their couch), then I think the world would be better.

And in regards for drugs and alcohol...you don't need them, but assuming you aren't unstable, trying a few wouldn't kill you.
