The Walking Dead Season 5 Finale Thread

With the finale today (US) or tomorrow (UK) I guess a thread is in order. What do you think will happen? Will anyone die?

My picks for deaths tonight would be Pete and Reginald. Morgan will probably make an appearance. Might get a sneak preview of Negan, although we probably won't see him until Season 6B or Season 7A.

There will most likely be at least 3 zombies.

I hope rick dies. I quit watching after he killed shane in season two. He was the only enjoyable character to watch.

i stopped watching after season 1, it turned from survival horror into competative group bitching.

The lack of major character deaths this season makes me think we'll see a lot next season. At the moment they're becoming too filled with characters.

6A will probably cover the Wolves, ending with a massive herd nearly destroying Alexandria in the mid-season finale, ending with a cliffhanger of Carl getting his eye shot out. Season 6B would cover Carl's recovery, Nichloas's coup against Rick, and the introduction of the Hilltop colony, with the finale being the introduction of Negan killing Glenn. My predictions for deaths would be Glenn, Deanna, Daryl, Tara, Jessie and possibly Carol. I would say Morgan dies in the MSF but judging by his combat style he could be taking the role of Jesus from the comics and last a lot longer than comic Morgan.

I've got my bets on Daryl and like half of the Alexandria community kicking the bucket. Rick'll probably get exiled or something and run into The Wolves, or The Wolves will attack first and Rick saves Alexandria.

I don't think we'll be seeing Negan for a while. We're round about issue 70 adjacent to the comic storyline, and Negan doesn't turn up till about 100, so we've still got a bit to go. Glenn won't die. I can guarantee that.

Damn right. Skull thickness does not change after death. Maybe if left out in the sun for a few years it might become a bit brittle, yeah. But come on....
Another thing I want to know... How come these zombies are still walking around? How have they not decomposed a lot more by now? The population of walkers should be pretty slim, all the year old and more would be limbless "gaaarrggaarg"s by now...
Do the rules of decomposition not apply to walkers? I mean, they should have been demolished by the flies alone... Where the hell is the massive ass fly plague that should have followed doomsday?

I'm saying Season 6 finale at the earliest, and that's a stretch. Although it's beginning to creep closer and closer, so speculation about Negan's introduction has been growing rapidly. The rest of Too Far Gone and No Way Out will probably be the story arc for 6A, and 6B will cover We Find Ourselves and A Larger World.

This reminds me that I lost interest in this show somewhere during season 2.

Season 2 was pretty boring, the first half anyway. It definitely gets better in the later seasons.

You can't really apply real world logic to it like that. Hell, maybe infected meat kills flys. And I think I'm season one when they find the scientist in the bunker her explains the slowing down of decomposition but I could be wrong

Nothing happens after the gov in season 4, all you need to know is that they look for a place called terminus after getting split up, some kids get rekt, and they eventually get to terminus. Then season 5 happens and it is an awesome season, shit happens in every episode.

Season 4B (I think I'm in a minority when I put this here)
Season 5A (Hospital arc was wasted potential and Beth was a shit character but still good shit. No Sanctuary was the best season opener by far)
Season 3 (aside from rick's mourning which was handled really poorly IMO)
Season 1
Season 4A (Filler but writers had no choice - By far the best mid-season finale, though)
Season 2B (18 Miles Out was one of the best episodes in the show tho)
Season 2A (BORING)

When you compare the seasons side by side the show really has changed a lot over the years. No one season is similar to the previous one.
