Only giving attention to the arguments that actually have standing doesn't mean that I think other arguments don't exist. If you honestly expect me to give the time of day to all the arguments out there that don't actually matter and aren't worth mentioning you really are looking to start shit over nothing.
Quote from: Arky on August 06, 2016, 03:36:49 PMExcept that's how a democratic organization like the UN works.where do the limited resources come into play heresuppose hentai were banned in the US by democratic meanswhat about the UN having limited resources is relevant now
Except that's how a democratic organization like the UN works.
I'm starting to think this is all just a damage control effort by Verb after he wrongly accused me of using fallacies and nobody agreed with him.
Especially since he expects me to list every single one of the countless possible wackjob arguments out there as to why somebody out there would be opposed to something in order to prove that i don't fail/am full of fallacy/whatever else he decides to use to keep this going until he gets the last word.

Let me break down the situation here."UN wants to ban hentai."Why?"They say its to protect women and children."Well, there's no evidence to propagate that point.Verbatim: 'Well you seeeee you're right that hentai shouldn't be banned, but its not because the point that the UN is making is wrong, its because of my own secret feelings that I'm going to be purposefully vague about so I can get my dick hard when somebody asks me what it is.'I don't think that matters. At all.'BUH-BUH-BUH''MY THING!''THE THING THAT I WAS THINKING ABOUT'*Gotta somehow make this conversation about me so someone will ask*
The UN should ban celery because it causes the oppression of women and children. If you prove me wrong and suggest that we tackle things like the sex trade and repressive theocratic regimes in the middle east instead because those things will actually help to alleviate the suffering of women and children you're just committing a fallacy.
the UN once again proving they're the shittiest international treaty in existence
