This a good laptop?

My main purpose for it is college but to have lots of programs, stream and load images/videos (not for porn *cough*cough*) at a fast speed, download things at a fast speed, etc.

Also plan on running some games but mostly just the Total War series is really it, nothing beyond Napolean or Shogun II

Nothing is wrong with AMD for budget buys. But for the CPU heavy stuff mentioned in the OP, he's going to need some Intel and nvidia

Okay then.

Budget is set between $400-$750. Find me a laptop that'll meet my needs but not over the top like I7 and 8GB ram. Cheaper, the better

It does what I need it to do, does not require antivirus software, and I've had good luck with their customer service.
