The more you're likely to develop a sense of humor. Is this true?
Or is the Sep7agon "brand" of humor not applicable in most social situations?

Also, has the Internet detracted from or enhanced comedy overall? What has been the effect on "low" and "high" forms of comedy? Does this convey something about how we think about current issues in a significant way?

Many people don't seem to have appreciation or creativity for high comedy, satire is barely even recognizable anymore, biting humor will "trigger" someone, witty dialogue is now thought boring, and criticism of life is confined to pettiness. Huh. I think humor might have suffered as a whole from the Internet, actually :\
At least conventional views of it, anyway.

I make more puns now, which I hate. I also love dark humor and I don't have a "joking voice", so people think I'm serious more often than I am. Mix the two together, and you get a lot of people thinking I legitimately want to bomb free clinics or commit to a strict law of eugenics.

It keeps our culture from stagnating, so I would argue that change is generally a positive thing.
