btw electric cars and hybrids are bad for the environmentamount of lithium mining needed to create these batteries causes more environmental damage than most petroleum cars will do in emissions in its lifetime

They're not really that kind of hybrid anyway, the electric portions just provide even more torque to the drivetrain for even more power, not really to have any kind of environmental effect.

The E-Motors help with lower end speeds, so it is a smooth transition between hands off accumulating with both working together for that enormous acceleration spike. It literally is a smooth rise (and very very fast rise).
