There's really nothing coherent about Madoka. That shows was hastily put together and relies on the shock value of the third episode (which anyone with half a brain saw coming a mile away) to keep the viewers to see just how deep the rabbit hole goes with a "dark" magical girl show. All of this so they can ride Rebuild train just to churn out more money. With their new movies with their fanbase screaming "See, we can do new movies too!" when Eva was already half way done with it. Madoka is the DCEU of anime.

everything it did has been done numerous time before and better.
by what? And if you bring Eva in to this I'm never taking you seriously again.
but keep in mind that Madoka only rides is success off of episode 3 and nothing else.

If you failed me at trying to convert me into some die-hard Madokafag, the yes, you did so fantastically bad. On an unrelated note, God damn Zen you got your new age music in my Youtube recommendations! Now I have to go watch 20 different videos of Beethoven and Locus to drown it out of my lists. No you fuckin cunt. The point and highlight of the show was not episode three. That was simply a very important catalyst for other events.
>animu>making sense, ever"HEY LOOK AT MY ROBOT THAT'S BIGGER THAN THE VISIBLE UNIVERSE"Choose one.
Was the point to give Madoka a choice? Was it always about giving a simple girl a simple choice? Because had Homura just stated that she'd become God if she chose to be a magical girl, the entire show could've been avoided by the end of the second episode. But I guess a huge plot inconvenience like that would defeat the whole purpose right? Quote from: THE BOAT ecks two on April 21, 2016, 07:53:00 PMNo you fuckin cunt. Homura(did everything wrong)'s objective was to keep Madoka from making any wish. She had no clue that the ending of the current timeline that we followed was a possible outcome.
You've thrown yourself into a impossible situation for your argument. Either Homura was wrong in everything that she did and didn't know what would happen with Madoka and thus continued the loop which made Madoka more powerful. OR: Homura knowingly put herself in a situation where either she would defeat Walpurgisnacht, or Madoka would have to intervene this using the power from the time loop hence, she didn't do anything wrong at all. EDIT, on another unrelated note, I'm re-downloading F/SN, is there an English patch for Realta Nua? Homura (did everything wrong) couldn't defeat Walpurgisnacht alone. It would never happen. She was not strong enough and in the two prior timelines where it was stopped, Madoka was the one who killed it. This however, requires that Madoka is a magical girl. Homura wants to prevent this. Homura can't stop this. This is the futility of of Homura's obsession.
Except Homura's obsession literally saved everyone....Quote from: THE BOAT ecks two on April 21, 2016, 08:31:39 PMHomura (did everything wrong) couldn't defeat Walpurgisnacht alone.
