The GoT episode 4 discussion thread.

The dying guy at I believe 46:50 who removed his helmet, Do you guys think that was Randyll Tarly? I'm thinking he was due to his facial features and armor looking similar and because of the scene itself. All the deaths scenes during the Field of Fire 2.0 where about random groups of people dying, this one on the other hand focused on a single person. In my mind they focused on that single person due to him being an important character which would have been Randyll.

For the next question, do you think Jaime was a "fucking idiot" for charging Dany with that spear? Yes the move itself was dumb, but at the same time it would have been worth doing due to the possibility of ending the war or at least crippling Dany's army.

He saved Jaime from being burnt alive to drowning under the sea where the birds have scales for feathers. I can't wait for the next episode where Bronn magically got to Jaime in time to remove his armor and then bring him up to the surface.

What's great about that scene is the symbolism. He's being dragged down by his armor which is Lannister. The symbolism there is that he's being dragged down by the loyalty to his house and his sister. Also it ended in a similar way to episode one. That one ended with Bran falling from the tower and this one ended with Jamie sinking to the bottom of a lake.

It could be Randyll, but he wasn't wearing a helmet. I guess he could've put one on when everyone else geared up, but  I don't think it's him.

Bronn was straight niggin the whole time. Honestly my favorite character of the entire show.

I just don't get how Bronn has such great plot armour. And somehow gets to do everything right. I feel that D&D have forsaken real life event and decided to let people cheer for their winners. Even if Danaerys looks evil next episode she will still be cheered for, cause they will make her look good.

And what happened to Euron. Good battle scene, but if usually you snipe out the leaders first thing first, and you can spot them on the horses.

Prediction, Jamie and Bronn wash up on a shore or Bronn swims him to shore. Maybe Bronn gets captured and meets with Tyrion again. I do not know.

Tarly died then I bet Dickon will be next in line and due to his feeling he may switch sides. Also burning the food supply? Why do that? Should have kept hold on to that and burn the soldiers instead. Important supplies, unless the Dothraki don't need that, like the Mongols did.

You know what I hope Jamie dies next episode just because. Captured, does not bend the knee and is killed. Bronn, finds out his debt is never payed and switches side.

i know right, i mean brienne is one of the most battle hardened fuckers in westeros (show-wise) and has bested some of the most skilled knights and arya hasn't even really had a proper sword fight until now (unless i missed something?)

i mean presumably the faceless men are some of the most skilled warriors in the world, but i don't give a shit, washing a few dead bodies and being blind for a couple months doesn't suddenly make you god tier

Arya has been a train wreck since the Braavos arc tbh. Of the OG cast, Jon is pretty much the only one that DND hasn't completely ruined yet.

they could dress arya up in a mime outfit and have her read NPR stories and she'd still be the best character on that dumb show
