I've always criticized new Dodge, simply because they got pants on head retarded as soon as Iacocca left. But these opinions shall change, maybe, like maybe your Dakota will change gears when you want it to. They had gotten it right nearly 50 years ago. Then they fucked up. Now they got it right again. They have made huge strides in car history, and really put themselves on the world stage. Now we have dadbod rocking middle aged men saying they want to buy a Hellcat when they have their midlife crisis.

And I began to see why there was so much hype for the new line. The Iacocca years saw much sucess in the financial side of things, but never did he produce a 707 horse monster that tries to kill you for accelerating in the wet out of third gear. SRT Neons were cool, SRT chargers were even better for the midlife crisis man, and ACT Vipers were the best. But the Hellcat set itself apart, while retaining common attributes.
