There are absolutely no cons of FSVR whatsoever as you described it, and I'd say it's imperative that we achieve this technology as fast as possible, because it would change everything for the better. It may even just solve the problem of anti-natalism, which is why I'm personally such a huge shill for it.All the cons you listed for each category aren't really cons at all, even sexual degeneracy.

People would finally be able to live out their sick taboo fantasies on a near-facsimile basis, without anybody getting hurt or abused or pregnant or anything. The social stigma will perhaps forever be an issue for them, though. No one likes the thought of pedophiles being able to have sex with children, but if it's just a virtual simulation, what exactly is the harm, other than that the rest of us find it repugnant? If anything, simulations like this will give pedophiles and other sick people an outlet to deter them from actually abusing children.

Would the company provide the VR beds or would you have to provide them yourself? In the case of the latter, you know have a huge problem with entering the workforce that is against many laws we have in place to allow easy access to jobs, right to work and so on. Not to mention there's nothing that can be done virtually that can't be done with a computer that's connected over the internet to the company's servers. It just doesn't make sense. The sexual degeneracy bit is a bit overblown as well. I think it would be a huge boon to allow pedophiles and rapists to act out their fantasies in the virtual world as opposed to negatively impacting real world people. Pedophiles can't help how they feel, a great many of them don't act I their feelings because they know it's fucked up, but if they can live out these fantasies in a safe place who are they hurting? The argument could be made that this will lead to real world consequences in that it encourages this behavior, but I don't think people would risk the jail time when there is an alternative that has zero consequences. As for the other sexually deviant acts that are discouraged, who is there to judge? If the VR world is private and no one can see what you're doing what's the harm in acting out your sexual desires? I think the consequences would be the same as with viewing porn. Overuse would be an issue and can make social interaction a think of the past, but in many ways we are already there with the internet. I didn't really have anything other than that. I think education would be accelerated by leaps and bounds, I also think it would get kids you want to learn and I see no downside. A virtual classroom would be fucking sick, especially if you consider the sciences like marine biology. How dope would it be to be able to visit an aquarium with your class when learning about sharks?Another area impacted sharply would be tourism. I think this technology would serve to essentially kill tourism if we're not careful. Regulations on real world locations would have to be in place in order for people to want to leave home and actually experience them for themselves. Otherwise, what's the point of leaving the country, or your home state, at a big cost financially and big risk to your health for something you can experience at home?I'm not sold on the idea myself. I think it would cause a lot of unforseen problems and would change life as we know it.
